With the desire to deal with the digital gap, the Connectem Barcelona program has arrived in the Trinitat Vella neighborhood in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona. Specifically, the initiative has lent twenty-five laptops to the Trinitat Vella - José Barbero Library. The digital needs support service Connectem Barcelona, promoted by the Barcelona Library Consortium, the BIT Habitat Foundation and the Barcelona Mobile World Capital Foundation, started in the Besòs and Maresme neighborhood in Sant Martí.

The laptop lending service will be available to users of the Trinitat Vella - José Barbero Library, located at Carrer de Galícia, 16. To access it, you only need a Barcelona Libraries card. Laptops can be used for one month, extendable up to three times. Likewise, the Trinitat Vella - José Barbero Library offers an ICT advisory service to people who need digital support on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5 to 8 p.m., at its facilities.

The intention is to soon expand the Connectem Barcelona program to other municipal facilities and libraries in the city of Barcelona with the aim of guaranteeing access to digital devices with a high-quality network connection and offering digital support to people at risk of digital exclusion of the city.
