The Women's ICT Awards promote the access of women to the technological field, increase their presence, recognize the essential role of those that already belong to the ICT world, and encourage participation in the construction of the digital society with equality criteria

They are structured into seven categories , according to the professional profile, and four subcategories, and are exclusive to each other; Therefore, the same candidature can only be submitted to one of these categories:

  • 1. Entrepreneur: founding woman or co-founder of a company active in the ICT sector or who has carried out innovations in the family business, as an entrepreneur.
  • 2. Professional: a woman who works for a company, organization or on his own, who is devoted to the field of ICT and has a university degree in the field of ICT.
  • 3. Academic / Researcher: a woman who is devoted to training and / or research in the field of ICT and has a university degree in the field of ICT.
  • 4. Teller : woman who works in the field of communication or who has carried out dissemination activities linked to ICT.
  • 5. TIC Women Revelation : a woman with a very important short career and a significant and remarkable role in the field of ICT.
  • 6. ICT student:

6.1. Student ICT University: girl student of any university degree in the field of ICT that has developed a project and / or a remarkable initiative in the field of ICT. The girl enrolled at the time of the call for the Awards is considered to be studying and it is recommended to present a letter of reference from the center or from a teacher.
6.2. Estudiante TIC FP: girl student of any FP training cycle in the field of ICT that has developed or is developing a project and / or a remarkable initiative in the field of ICT. The girl enrolled at the time of the call for the Awards is considered to be studying and it is recommended to present a letter of reference from the center or from a teacher.

  • 7. Referential Initiatives:

7.1. Enterprise Referential Initiative: company, executive / -ive in any team that has developed an initiative that values the role of women in the field of ICT.
7.2. Entity Referential Initiative, Training Center / Institution: institution and / or training center / institution, executive / -ive in any team that has developed an initiative that values the role of women in the field of ICT.

The giveaway of the 2019 Women's TIC Awards will be on October 8 , Ada Lovelace's Day, at the Sala Barts in Barcelona.
