Under the title 'Women's opportunities and challenges in the technology sector', the Factoria F5 association , in collaboration with Endesa, will present the 'FemCoders' program , a key initiative in promoting diversity within the technology sector. The event will take place next Wednesday, June 11, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Espai Endesa, located at Carrer Roger de Flor, number 38-52, in the city of Barcelona. Specifically, the 'FemCoders' program emerged within the framework of the Google.org Impact Challenge for Women & Girls and was developed between 2021 and 2024. Over this time, more than 350 women were trained in full stack web development, improving their professional careers and job opportunities.

In this sense, the Factoria F5 association has created the first network of solidarity, inclusive and free digital schools dedicated to offering opportunities to people in vulnerable situations within the world of programming and web development. This 2025, the entity will continue to offer various training courses so that women who wish can develop their talent and access new job opportunities. The topics will be full stack web development, artificial intelligence, cloud computing or cybersecurity.
