Within the framework of Women in Technology Day 2019 , the Spiral Association, Education and Technology , as ambassador of the Technovation Challenge program in Catalonia, organizes the final in Barcelona of junior and senior teams, where the participants will defend their projects in front of a A jury formed by about 50 women from the social, business and educational world.

Jordi Puigneró , Councilor for Digital Policies and Public Administration of the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Robert Riley , United States Consul General and Núria Balada , President of the Catalan Women's Institute will attend the conference.

Program

9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Arrival and collection of registrations
9.40 a.m. to 12.00 a.m. Simultaneous presentations of junior and senior groups, technology workshops and choreographies
12.10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Senior ceremony with the 62 participating girls, their mentors, the jury and relatives (until full capacity)
13.20 a.m. to 2.10 p.m. Junior ceremony with the 193 girls, their mentors and the jury. Relatives must follow the ceremony for streaming in a parallel room.
14: 30h. End of the meeting.

The Technovation Challenge is a global initiative created in 2009 with the aim of increasing female participation in the technological field , in which women account for only 30% of workers. Under the motto "Girls for a change", 20,000 girls from 116 countries have submitted 2,000 social projects.
