Once again, the Santa Bárbara Smartcentre has taught several 3D printing workshops for the students of the Jaume Balmes School. The SmartLAB space of the ICT Point has hosted the different sessions, which this school year have been with the boys and girls of P5. So, the children got to know first-hand how 3D printers work and were able to create key chains. The objective of the activity was the implementation and standardization of the work in the SmartLAB space of the local educational community. Creating synergies between the educational center and the ICT Point and learning outside the classroom have been the main axes of the initiative, which has arisen from a common desire: to work for the well-being and to improve the learning process of children.

The action has been carried out with the collaboration of the departments of New Technologies and Education of the City of Santa Bárbara, which, once again, have made available to the local educational center the resources for promote training and access to new information and communication technologies.
