From Monday, July 7th until Friday, July 18th, the Xarxa Punt TIC will offer three tutored online courses: the use of virtual reality, the creation of digital content and artificial intelligence tools.

Next Monday, July 7, the Xarxa Punt TIC will launch a new edition of the Summer Campus. Once again, the initiative will be designed to work on digital skills, learn about new practices, tools and methodologies and discover new resources, uses and technologies. Specifically, the three new online training proposals will be aimed at the people who drive the Xarxa Punt TIC and will have personalized guidance, constant monitoring and individualized support from the Technical and Dynamization Office team.

Firstly, the course 'Virtual Reality, an immersive environment for education' (initial level) will be offered, where you will discover how to use virtual reality to boost innovative, immersive and accessible digital learning activities. Among the contents, it highlights the in-depth study of the technical requirements of virtual reality, the tools and resources for creating and carrying out virtual reality content and aspects related to inclusion, accessibility and security. Secondly, the course 'Deep into the creation of audiovisual content' (intermediate level) will be offered, where you will go through all the stages of creating audiovisual content, from planning to disseminating the developed proposal. Among the contents, it highlights the ideation of the audiovisual proposal, the identification of tools, resources and recommendations on free software and artificial intelligence and the discovery of dissemination channels and good practices and references from audiovisual organizations and prescribers. Thirdly, the course 'How to use artificial intelligence with an ethical perspective?' (initial level) will be offered, where the functioning of artificial intelligence models will be known with a conscious perspective and functionalities that can help in the role of digital dynamizer will be investigated. Among the contents, knowledge of the typologies of models and aspects linked to the legality and responsibility of artificial intelligence stands out, as well as the functionalities and the construction of a firm ethical, critical and responsible perspective around the use of artificial intelligence tools.

The three courses will last six hours and will be in asynchronous format through the virtual platform CampusLab Punt TIC. The three training proposals of the Summer Campus of the Xarxa Punt TIC will remain open from Monday, July 7th until Friday, July 18th. In this sense, interested people will be able to register even if they have started until the available places are exhausted (there are a total of thirty places per training). The training pace will be completely autonomous with the aim of encouraging the participation of the maximum number of people. Each training will work on different digital skills according to DigComp 2.2. The assessment of the achievement of the training objectives will be based on participation, individual work and tutored activities. Finally, once the training has been completed, the participants will obtain various badges that will certify the digital skills achieved according to the DigComp 2.2 competence framework.
