On March 6 , the Secretariat of Digital Policies presents the lines of action of the PlaDonaTIC to make women more visible in the ICT sector.

Despite the information and communication technology (ICT) sector employing 84,600 workers in Catalonia, only 30% of the people employed in the sector are women and 33% choose post-compulsory studies in the field of ICT.

With the aim of increasing the presence of women within the field, the DonaTIC Plan was designed by the Secretariat of Digital Policies to enhance all activities aimed at guaranteeing non-sexism , and reduce cyberbullying in the field. , promote the access of women to ICT , promote entrepreneurship and promote technological vocations among women .

Next Friday, March 6 , a conference will be held to announce the news of this strategic plan being worked on. The event will take place at the Pompeu Fabra University (Balmes Building) - Koiné Room from 10 a.m. to 11:15 p.m.
