The City Council of Barcelona through Barcelona Activa opens the call «Impulsemos lo que haces», a line of financial aid to finance projects of social economy and solidarity in the neighborhoods.

Until May 29 , both physical and legal entities (associations, cooperatives, foundations, micro and small businesses, autonomous people, etc.) may present projects that promote the socio-economic situation of the neighborhoods and promote employment, Entrepreneurship and business, socioeconomic innovation, responsible tourism, and social and digital innovation.

The call has six different categories and the economic aid can cover up to 80% of the total budget of the project, with a maximum of 50,000 euros .

Subsidized projects may have a maximum duration of 12 months and must have begun in 2019. Between April 26 and May 16, the town hall will hold information sessions in city facilities to explain the requirements and the procedures.

For the second year in a row, this year the modality of social digital innovation is aimed at projects that promote and foster the use of open technologies and protection of the right to privacy, which exploit digital connectivity and collecting tools. work to co-create solutions based on digital manufacturing technologies; distributed technology, robotics and artificial intelligence; open data, etc.

The others are aimed at entrepreneurship and business projects that promote innovation, promote awareness and have a social return to the territory and promote the employment of especially vulnerable groups, promote responsible tourism and / or sustainable agri-food models.

The application can be made through the Procedures Portal of the Barcelona City Council with a digital certificate.
