The Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC) manages the ADA program, financed by European Next Generation funds, with the aim of offering digital training to unemployed women, primarily in municipalities with less than 30,000 inhabitants. By acquiring and improving the digital skills of this group, the ADA program aims to boost entrepreneurship and rural development in the territory, as well as reduce the gender gap.

Through the ADA program, until 2025, a total of 45,951 women will be trained in one of the digital specialties and training itineraries included in the different areas of knowledge (full list of areas of knowledge), which can be divided into basic level , intermediate level and advanced level.

In order to access these grants, to which entities affiliated to the TIC Point Network can apply, the centers must apply for registration in the SOC's Register of Training Entities. Afterwards, they will have to apply for the ADA program at GIA and then they will have to submit the application form through the Virtual Office of Procedures of the Generalitat de Catalunya (EACAT, for local entities, or Canal Empresa , for the rest).

Next Thursday, June 29, two technicians from the Professional Training Service for Labor Insertion of the Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC) ( qualificacio.soc@gencat.cat ) will participate in the Social Internet Revitalization Day (JdIS ) , which this year will be dedicated to combating digital gaps in the territory, where they will explain in detail the ADA program and the procedure for applying for these grants.
