In the months of October, November and December, the Canòdrom. The Ateneu d'Innovació Digital i Democràtica. , which is located at Carrer de Concepción Arenal, number 165, in the city of Barcelona, will program a new edition of the 'Code Club Canòdrom' initiative. Between Tuesday, October 6 and Tuesday, December 15, the proposal will be promoted weekly on Tuesdays, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Canòdrom facilities. Specifically, it will be a free after-school technology and programming activity for children aged 9 to 13 and promoted by volunteers, educators and collaborators who will offer a unique opportunity to imagine, experiment and learn in a fun, dynamic and applied way. Thus, participating children will learn to create games, animations and stories with Scratch. The extracurricular activity is aimed at boys and girls who want to continue developing their projects, who want to start from scratch, who want to try this programming language or who want to share their ideas and make them a reality. Real creativity, playful programming, teamwork, critical thinking, a safe and inclusive space and educational and free action will be some of the distinctive features of the proposal. The 'Code Club Canòdrom' initiative is part of the 'Code Club' program promoted by the Catalan cooperative Colectic , with the collaboration of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, which seeks to break through socio-digital gaps and promote technological vocations throughout the Catalan territory.
