The Generalitat of Catalonia, through the Directorate General of Digital Society, has initiated a collaborative process to reach a consensus on a Charter of Rights and Responsibilities of Citizens and Citizens of Catalonia in the Digital Era . The document aims to become a general and unmovable framework of consensus to guarantee the digital rights of people, organizations and companies with regard to issues such as accessibility, privacy or security, among others.
To build the basis of this letter of intent, a collective process has begun, where not only public administration, but also citizens, universities, social entities or companies are taking part. The Technical Office of the Punt TIC Network has participated in one of these co-creation sessions! It is expected that the Charter will be publicly presented before the end of 2019.
