Next Saturday, October 11, the mSchools initiative will organize the first mSchools OpenSpace, an open and collaborative space to delve into an active, critical, creative and educational use of digital technologies. The event will take place from 9 am to 2 pm at the Valkiria Hub Space facilities, located at Carrer de Pujades, number 126, in the city of Barcelona. Aimed at teachers, researchers and agents of the educational ecosystem, the meeting will focus on real challenges, promote synergies and propose actions to transform classrooms. Specifically, the day will feature an inaugural dialogue by Maria del Mar Sánchez Vera, full professor at the Faculty of Education of the University of Murcia and member of the Educational Technology Research Group, who will open the debate with her critical and committed perspective on how to develop digital competence with social justice. Following this, Carlos Iglesias, CEO of Runroom and Academic Director at ESADE, will combine structure and freedom so that everyone can contribute, listen and co-create. The aim will be to connect real concerns and challenges about the use of digital technologies, co-create conversations and workshops arising from the proposals of the participants and build shared actions that transform classrooms.
