Organized by the Col·laboratori Catalunya, promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Fundació i2CAT with the support of Secartys/Sinergia, the Cicle DonaTIC will visit Lleida. On Wednesday, January 31, at 6 p.m., the Cambra de Comerç de Lleida, located at Carrer Anselm Clavé number 2 in the city of Lleida, will host the session. Under the title 'El talent femení en l’ecosistema digital de Catalunya: vivències i oportunitats', the aim will be to promote the role of women in the field of technologies. The Cicle DonaTIC wants to give voice to leading women in the technological, scientific and business fields in order to learn about their inspiring experiences. Therefore, it will seek to expand the visibility and connection of female talent and encourage technological vocations among girls and young people.
The session will begin with an institutional welcome by Liliana Arroyo, directora general de Societat Digital de la Generalitat de Catalunya, and Carme Valls, regidora de Bon Govern i regidora de Polítiques Feministes de l’Ajuntament de Lleida. Then, there will be a round table with the participation of professionals Beatriz García (Lleida.net), Lara Iglesias (Pirineos Drone), Rosa Gil (Escola Politècnica Superior de la Universitat de Lleida), Mariama Sall (Innitia) and Laura Sunyol (Organisme Autònom de Gestió i Recaptació de Tributs Locals de la Diputació de Lleida). The round table will be moderated by Carla Brito, tècnica de l’àrea Digital Social Tecnologies de la Fundació i2CAT. Then there will be a presentation on women and the digital world by Laia Rogel, presidenta de l’Associació d’Empresàries de Lleida. Finally, the 'Makers Lleida' initiative will be presented.
In essence, the Cicle DonaTIC is part of the Pla DonaTIC promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, through the Secretaria de Polítiques Digitals, with the aim of promoting and recognizing the talent, presence and leadership of women in information and communication technologies in Catalunya.
