The Economic Promotion Area of Castelldefels City Council, with the collaboration of the ICT Point Network, will launch an ICT Point at the Vista Alegre Civic Center (On Lab) . From Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m., the new space, located on Carrer Ramón y Cajal, s/n, corner Carrer Cervantes, in the town of Castelldefels, will focus on the promotion of new information technologies and of communication from a social, critical, transformative and universal perspective. The TIC Point of the Vista Alegre Civic Center (On Lab) will have two facilitators and will propose activities for young people (from 13 to 29 years old), for adults (from 30 to 64 years old) and for elderly people (over aged 65). In this sense, the new space will have around forty computers and various 3D machines with the aim of promoting digital empowerment.
With regard to the proposed proposals, the new dynamism space will become a point of connection to the network, will offer advice in the digital field, promote digital literacy, promote training in the ICT field and in the STEAM field , will collaborate with other territorial agents, work through challenges, provide support in the search for work and seek to improve employability in the town of Castelldefels and its surroundings.
