The Barcelona Open Data Initiative has recently launched a new collaborative challenge: #50Datasets for the promotion of healthy ageing. Specifically, datasets useful for making informed decisions about healthy aging and datasets that measure indicators such as health, well-being, social inclusion and citizen participation are sought. The goal of the new collaborative challenge is to compile a list of the fifty best datasets. In this sense, it is necessary to send the name of the dataset, its usefulness and its quality through an online form so that the project team can study and evaluate it.

Open data can be a powerful tool to drive social transformation. For this reason, from the Iniciativa Barcelona Open Data entity, citizens are invited to share the datasets they know that address the challenges related to the quality of life and the well-being of the elderly. The aim of the project is to identify them, collect them, index them and make them known to the general public.
