Sonic PI is an open source programming environment designed to explore and teach programming concepts through the process of creating new sounds. C onsisteix a synthesizer that emits musical sounds from text commands. To use it only requires a sound card and a speakerphone or headset. With Sonic PI you can work on sequencing, iteration, conditional structures, data structures, functions, algorithms, etc.

The training will take place on Tuesday 29 October and 5, 12 and 19 November, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Roca Umbert Library , home of the ICT Point. It is aimed at teenagers between 12 and 16 years old.

The participants will learn to start from scratch in the Sonic PI program and soundly codify sounds to make music through the computer. To participate, headphones and interest in new technologies are required.
