Last Thursday, May 15, the Xarxa Punt TIC Network experienced the fourth virtual meeting of the year 2025. The new virtual meeting of the Xarxa Punt TIC revolved around the world of video games and had more than a dozen participants, including Conxi Pérez Andreu , a computer engineer and expert in artificial intelligence. Initially, the fourth virtual meeting of the year 2025 was scheduled for Monday, April 28, but the massive power outage interrupted the online session and forced it to be rescheduled.
Initially, Conxi Pérez Andreu spoke about her professional experience and explained that she is the co-founder of the company Rolldbox Games, a video game studio dedicated to a new generation of video games that generate positive energy, and co-founder of the company In Movement!, an organization expert in organizational transformation. Pérez Andreu detailed her path in the world of entrepreneurship and, specifically, in the world of video games. In this sense, issues such as, for example, artificial intelligence, equality or environmental sustainability were put on the table. At this point, Pérez Andreu explained that the company Rolldbox Games is the only video game studio that incorporates in its own products the possibility of taking action to take care of the planet. It was also highlighted that the company Rolldbox Games is committed to a positive use of technology, making its products contribute to citizens and taking into account the impact they generate, as well as highlighting the possibility of working on skills and competencies through video games such as, for example, leadership, teamwork or empathy. Likewise, Pérez Andreu raised awareness about artificial intelligence tools and the need to use them, but always from an ethical and critical perspective.
Similarly, Conxi Pérez Andreu spoke about the importance of promoting technological vocations among girls and the need to increase the presence of women in the digital field. In this regard, in 2023, Pérez Andreu was awarded the DonaTIC Entrepreneur Award of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Finally, Conxi Pérez Andreu shared her life experience and highlighted the importance of each person having the freedom to develop their professional career at their own pace.
