The Punt TIC la Garriga is located in the emblematic building of Can Raspall , of modernist construction and the first work of the architect Manuel J. Raspall. Among its main activities are personalized attention to citizens , especially related to issues of job placement and support to reduce the digital divide of all groups and promote universal access to ICT. They also do training pills and courses of various levels to achieve different digital skills.
The presentation last December 1 was attended by ten people and the councilor of the Economic Promotion area of the Garriga City Council, Meritxell Catalan i Baldich , Mónica Acebo of the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Laura Serrano , Director of the Technical and Promotion Office of the Punt TIC Network and Rafel Nualart , manager of Digital Social Innovation at Collaboratorio Catalunya. The initiatives of other Punt TIC and the network work methodology of the collaborators were made known.
One of the objectives that they want to promote from the point is the direct relationship with local companies in the Garriga to attend to the needs of the sector and accompany them in their digitization as well as those of the working people. The meeting ended with a participatory dynamic to relate the needs and concerns of the local companies that attended.
