Next Thursday, November 28, the Ferrer i Guàrdia Foundation will promote a meeting to debate and reflect on socio-digital inequalities and rights in the digital environment. Under the title 'Disconnecting inequalities', the conference will focus on topics of great relevance such as, for example, the digital gender gap and the state of the digital rights of children, adolescents and the youth
The day 'Disconnecting inequalities' will feature two expert round tables, where the results of the Ferrer i Guàrdia Foundation's latest research will be shared and how technology can be a powerful tool to reduce inequalities and promote rights will be explored of groups with vulnerable situations. Likewise, six real experiences will be presented. In this sense, the first table will focus on digital rights and gender and the second, on the rights of children, adolescents and young people in the digital environment. Along these lines, the welcome will be given by Hungria Panadero, director of the Ferrer i Guàrdia Foundation, and Sandra Gómez, coordinator of Digital Technologies, and the closing, by the expert Marta G. Franco. The event, which will have a space for exchange and the creation of synergies, will start at 9.45 a.m. and end at 1.45 p.m. and will take place at Palau Macaya, which is located at Passeig de Sant Joan, number 108, in Barcelona .
