Next Tuesday, May 28, Col·laboratorio Catalunya , promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya and the i2CAT Foundation, will organize the meeting 'Temps de Col·laboratorios: promoting digital social innovation in the local area' in the town of Salt . The day, which will start at 9 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m., will take place at the Coma Cros Cultural Factory, located at Carrer de Sant Antoni, number 1, in the town of Salt. The aim will be to learn about tools, projects and methodologies that place citizens at the center of innovation.

The meeting will begin with an institutional welcome by the third deputy mayor of Salt City Council, Toni Vidal, the deputy for assistance to municipalities, general services, support to local entities, new technologies and public procurement of the Provincial Government of Girona, Joan Plana, the director of public sector innovation of the i2CAT Foundation, Rosa Paradell, and the general director of digital society of the Generalitat de Catalunya, Liliana Arroyo Moliner. Then, the director of digital social technologies of the i2CAT Foundation, Marta Martorell, will present Col·laboratorio Catalunya. Next, five local success stories linked to digital social innovation will be shared: the project 'Càtedra Tekhné, education, technology and human development' with Mireia Frigola, the project 'Ecoregion, an economic community of regional ecological food' with Oriol Costa, the project 'RosesLab, a technological center for tourism and social innovation' with Marc Grijalvo, a Catalan smartphone project to make Africa fall in love with Fadima Diawara and an immersive health therapies project with Neus Domènech. Then, a pilot project of live broadcast of immersive concerts for people with reduced mobility will be presented by Jordi Planagumà, director of the Fundació Casa de la Música de les Comarques Gironines, and Beka Iglesias, developer of the i2CAT Foundation. Then there will be a break. Then, a dynamic of co-creation of collective mapping of the territory by thematics will be articulated. Afterwards, there will be a working lunch and a visit to the Coma Cros Cultural Factory.
