Did you know that Arduino has its day? It is the first of April and is celebrated around the world with more than 400 activities. In Catalonia there will be two events, one in the School of Engineering of Manresa (EPSEM) and the other at the School of Engineering Barcelona Est of the UPC. Both the advance the party to the 31st March.
Arduino is an open source electronics platform based on flexible, easy to use hardware and software. Several telecentres of our network have already experienced it and those who are interested can do so with the help of loan service of robotics kits .
April 1 is the Arduino Day. Turin (Italy) and Malmö (Sweden) will host the official conferences. In addition, there will be over 400 events worldwide organized by the community of users of Arduino, where interested people can meet, share experiences and learn about electronics and robotics.
In Catalonia there will be two activities:
BCN Arduino Day: Will take place on 31 March from 17.00 to 20.30 in the School of Engineering of the UPC Barcelona Est (EEBE-UPC). It will consist of a introductory workshop and also some projects will be shown.
Arduino Day EPSEM: It will be also on 31 March, from 16.00 to 20 pm at the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Manresa. It will include a workshop for beginners, demonstrations and presentations of projects with Arduino. You can book places for the workshop on writing arduinoday [at] epsem.upc.edu before 28 March.
