With the aim of publicizing new trends in the digital sector and becoming a meeting point between professionals, teachers and students, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya will organize the fifth edition of the ICT Open Day. The Hall of Acts of the Tech Talent Center, which is located at Carrer Badajoz number 73 in the city of Barcelona, will be the setting for the event next Thursday, June 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The event will feature a central conference on the social impact of artificial intelligence by Karina Gibert, professor at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, director of the Intelligent Data Science and Artificial Intelligence research center (IDEAI-UPC) and dean of the Official College of Computer Engineering of Catalonia. Then, there will be an open round of questions and conversation with the audience and a networking space with light refreshments.
