The Spiral, Education and Technology Association , the organization of the program Technovation Girls in Catalonia, organizes an online event to close the Technovation Girls Catalonia 2020 season. It will be on June 27 and will be held virtually from 9:30 a.m. to noon .
The event will be led by Esther Subías and Aintzane Morales from Spiral (project ambassadors) and will be attended by 62 teams of 230 girls aged 10 to 18 who have presented their technological solutions to a social problem.
The meeting will begin with a presentation of the various presentations and activities . The event will then be divided into several small virtual rooms where you can listen to each of the projects that the girls have devised and designed. Afterwards, the success of the season despite the Covid-19 will be celebrated.

9.30am.: Institutional welcome by the Presidency of Spiral, Education and Technology, the entity promoting the project in Catalonia and the project ambassadors.
Next, Jordi Puigneró i Ferrer, Minister of Digital Policies and Public Administration will greet the participants and give the Special Mention to the mentor TechnovationCAT 2020. Gemma Fargas Ribas, Vice-Rector for Social Responsibility and Equality at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, will congratulate the participants
Also participating will be Laura Martínez , president of the Catalan Women’s Institute
- 10.00 p.m. : Healthy group relaxation activity

10.20am. : Presentation of projects by teams through different virtual rooms.
- 12.00 p.m. : Official announcement of the best teams in Catalonia , official semifinalists of the global competition and who continue in the competition.
Robert Riley , Consul General of the United States in Barcelona, will accompany the participants along with a representative of the company HP and the Barcelona Libraries
The ambassadors will then close the ceremony, celebrating the success of the season.
