On February 9, 2024, as part of the celebration of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the NecesserTIC - NTIC was presented, a digital social innovation project by the Punt TIC Smartcentre of Santa Bàrbara and the City Council of Santa Bàrbara, with the support of the Punt TIC Network and i2CAT. The initiative aims to break with gender stereotypes and do so especially within the field of technology. By changing the perspective of this object, the aim is to promote the visibility of women, their talent and their capabilities within the technology sector. A year later, the NecesserTIC - NTIC has five replicas that add up to a total of 1,140 units distributed. This year, at the Social Internet Dynamization Day 2025, we have joined in by distributing a hundred more replicas!
