On 28 November, the CNJC organizes this debate workshop is to analyze the construction of gender identities and gender violence in digital environments.
The National Council of Youth of Catalonia (CNJC) promotes the campaing "Disconnect from violence" for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The workshop discussion "Gender Identities networks: risks and potential" is part of this initiative. It will take place on 28 November, from 18.00 to 20.00, in the Ciutadella Campus of the University Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
The workshop, given by the association Matriu, will have two parts:
- Analysis with images to reflect how we show, what we share and what not in the networks. Part of the idea that online and offline realities are not isolated but closely related.
- View the short film "Double Check" and debate focused on the dynamics of control generated by social networks, which we love using indicators as valid and which of these can be powerful.
Attendance is free but places are limited. Registration can be done until Thursday 24 November (inclusive) by completing this form.
