On the last Thursday of every month, from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m., the Toplap Barcelona collective meets at the Canòdrom Ateneu d'Innovación Democràtica de Barcelona for a jam session of live coding where the artists have 9 minutes to create their work. At the end of the time the audience is obliged to applaud. The next session will be on 03/30 at 8:30 p.m. If you want to go there as an audience, the entrance is free. If you want to play at the jam session you can write an email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
Toplap Barcelona is a collaborative group of the Canòdrom that practices and promotes live coding as a creative technique in audiovisual creation, as a critical approach to technology and as a research process. Live coding is a performative practice, of creation in real time by writing code, making it a fundamental part of the execution program and the executed work.
