The I International Course on Democratic Digital Education and Open Edtech is an event organized by Xnet, the University of Barcelona, the Open Knowledge Foundation (OKFN) and the postgraduate course in Technopolitics and Rights in the Digital Age of the University of Barcelona with the aim of providing analysis tools to schools, teachers, the educational community, legislators and the general public to understand, first and foremost, the context and digital culture, and the problems and opportunities it offers in the educational context and to raise, secondly, the design of pedagogies and Digital Strategies of the Center from an innovative, agile, humanistic and respectful of human rights perspective.
It takes place from 12 to 14 July and consists of 20 hours of training which will analyze how the digital world is being approached in education from various points of view and proposals for specific corrective solutions. Registration is open until June 30.
