This is the third and last debate of the cycle "More human cities". It will take place on Wednesday 23 November at 19.00 at the Palau Macaya (Pg. De Sant Joan, 108 Barcelona) with the theme "Building identity in urban areas."
What defines the identity of the citizen? How does the city change us? How does the arrival of newcomers affect? How does the cultural, religious, political diversity hit the definition of "us" in the cities? This seminar will discuss the construction of identity in urban areas. With the participation of Antonia Hernandez, director of the XIII Congress of Educating Cities, and Andreu Domingo, deputy director of the Centre for Demographic Studies. It will be led by Josep Maria Carbonell, President of the Fundació Joan Maragall.
