The conference 'Aging in the Digital Age' will aim to foster dialogue between academia, civil society, public institutions and private institutions on media literacy among older people.
Next Friday, February 6, throughout the day, the conference 'Aging in the digital age: media literacy, digital participation and critical engagement' will be organized in room 1 of the CCCB. Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona, located at Carrer Montalegre, number 5, in the city of Barcelona. Within the framework of the European project MELISE , the initiative will aim to foster dialogue between academia, civil society, public institutions and private institutions on the challenges and opportunities of media literacy among older people. Through keynote lectures, round tables and debates by representatives from universities, research centres, organisations, media and European civil society initiatives, the conference 'Ageing in the Digital Age: Media Literacy, Digital Participation and Critical Engagement' will bring to the table research, methodologies and good practices that contribute to social inclusion, people's empowerment and the promotion of active citizenship in the digital age. The initiative will combine face-to-face and online interventions.
