Last Sunday, March 17, the Xarxa Punt TIC was one of the protagonists of the 'Revolution 4.0' program by Catalunya Ràdio. Journalist Xantal Llavina and Liliana Arroyo, director general of Societat Digital of the Generalitat de Catalunya, shared some time, where they could talk about the need to continue promoting female talent and favoring the presence of women in technological environments. Specifically, the 'NecesserTIC' was presented, an initiative that was born at the Punt TIC Smartcentre de Santa Bàrbara to break taboos and stereotypes and to promote digital training. Also, the presence of women at the Mobile World Congress and other initiatives such as, for example, the RETECH call on female entrepreneurship and the DonaTIC Awards, which will reach their tenth edition this year and reward and give visibility to new women entrepreneurs, disseminators and students, as well as initiatives that promote female talent.
The radio program 'Revolution 4.0' focuses on digital transformation and entrepreneurship and tries to glimpse what Catalunya and the world of the future will be like from the point of view of dissemination and entertainment. The program, which can be heard on Saturdays on the web and on Sundays, from 10 to 11 p.m., on Catalunya Ràdio, talks about entrepreneurial people, start-up companies, technology, cybersecurity, economy, sustainability, artificial intelligence and, above all, about how the digital revolution has come to transform absolutely everything.
