This year, on the occasion of February 11, International Day of Women and Girls in Science , the Gender Commission WomenCOEINF of the Official College of Computer Engineering of Catalonia, launched the campaign "Hey! Get on the train of the future" to make visible the role of women in the digital world by highlighting some active Catalan IT engineers and international historical references relevant to IT.
With the complicity of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya , which has given them the advertising spaces, they have occupied the interior spaces of the trains of the two FGC lines and a few light displays in the most emblematic stations of the network with posters representing the FGC railway lines with renovated stations, all renamed, bearing the names of active Catalan IT engineers and some important historical references in the sector, equally invisible and forgotten.
If you travel by FGC during the month of February 2023, you will find the poster of this campaign on illuminated signs in the stations of Catalonia, Spain, Provence and Europa-Fira, in the digital kiosk in Sarrià and in the interior spaces of the trains.
