The third virtual meeting of the Punt TIC Network in 2026 will discover technological initiatives that incorporate the gender perspective. The new online session will take place next Thursday, March 26, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., and will be aimed at the facilitators and managing entities of the Punt TIC Network. Specifically, the new virtual meeting of the Punt TIC Network will feature the participation of Margot Matesanz, member of the El Garbell technology cooperative , and Pat González, representative of the regenerative innovation and collective intelligence space for the future of the blue economy A Bordo Lab . Both initiatives have benefited from the call for Retech grants from the Secretariat of Digital Policies of the Department of Business and Employment of the Generalitat de Catalunya, which has sought to reduce the gender gap within the ICT field.

On the one hand, Matesanz will present the 'FemFrame' project , an initiative that uses the gender perspective as a practical tool to detect errors in technology. The 'FemFrame' project team studies how decisions are made at each stage of technological development to detect where biases that can generate errors are introduced, develops a tool based on generative artificial intelligence that identifies and diagnoses these biases and offers concrete improvements and specific recommendations and accompanies companies, institutions and entities so that they can integrate this methodology in a structural and scalable way through advice, support, training and guides. On the other hand, González will present the 'Lagertha' project , a female entrepreneurship program in advanced digital technologies and leadership on board a sailboat. The 'Lagertha' project team offers intensive training in artificial intelligence, blockchain, virtual and augmented reality and the Internet of Things applied to new business models with a triple impact on the blue economy. The initiative combines online training, face-to-face sessions and immersive experiences at sea. Through dynamics and mentoring, the project seeks to promote a new generation of female digital talent committed to innovation, sustainability and regenerative leadership aligned with the challenges of the ocean decade designated by the United Nations. Finally, a space for exchange will be opened.
