The first virtual meeting of the year 2026 of the Punt TIC Network will present the AfroféminasGPT tool. The new online session will take place next Thursday, January 29, from 12 to 1:30 p.m., and will be aimed at the facilitators and managing entities of the Punt TIC Network. Specifically, the new virtual meeting of the Punt TIC Network will feature the participation of Antoinette Torres Soler, director and founder of Afroféminas and creator of the AfroféminasGPT artificial intelligence tool. The AfrofeḿinasGPT tool is not a general artificial intelligence, it is an artificial intelligence designed to strengthen, consolidate and consolidate Afrofeminist, anti-racist and decolonial thinking, focusing on black women and racialized people.
The purpose of its existence responds to a very specific need: to create technology that does not reproduce the usual colonial biases of generalist artificial intelligence. In this sense, in the new online session of the Punt TIC Network, the birth of the artificial intelligence tool, its ethical and epistemological framework and its creation and development process will be explained. Likewise, the importance of critically intervening in technology, of promoting ethical decisions and of becoming aware of the policies that cross projects and initiatives, as well as the learnings that can arise from these processes of digital literacy and digital accompaniment will be discussed. After the presentation, a space for questions and doubts will be activated.
