The Collaboratory of the Municipal Institute of Local Development of Vallsgenera has launched a 360-degree virtual reality initiative aimed at the elderly. The project aims to affect the emotional and sensory well-being of the elderly and has the participation of the Inclusive Community Action Plan of the Valls City Council, the Valls Urbà Basic Health Area, the teachers and students of the The Narcís Oller Institute and the entities of the CatSud Collaborator.

Specifically, the initiative seeks to facilitate sensory stimulation and promote the well-being of older people who will be able to immerse themselves in natural landscapes through virtual reality. The project was born with the desire to promote networking between administrations, companies, educational centers and citizens and to respond to a challenge detected together with the Primary Care Center: the need to work on the emotional health of elderly people with problems of mobility that do not allow them to enjoy nature and natural environments. At the moment, the initiative is being formed and for the next year, it will be open to people in a situation of dependency.
