This autumn, the program 'Més Digitals' , which works to reduce the digital divide and promote the digital empowerment of more than 90,000 people through more than 9,000 courses to help citizens achieve basic skills and competencies in the digital field and at the same time improve their quality of life through the use of new technologies in a safe, inclusive, sustainable, democratic and equitable way, presents two major innovations. The first innovation of this season is the expansion of the training offer with three new virtual proposals on cybersecurity and privacy (from November 2025), artificial intelligence (from November 2025) and parental support in the digital environment (from January 2026). These three virtual thematic training lines will be free, will last eight hours and will be offered asynchronously. The objective will be to advance towards an updated digital society and train around new technologies with a dynamic, practical and fun approach. Likewise, the program 'Més Digitals' expands the face-to-face training offer with a fourth training itinerary: 'We protect ourselves in the digital world' , to learn about useful and practical tools for security in the digital world such as online shopping or protected devices.
In parallel, the program 'Més Digitals' will continue to offer the three training itineraries: 'Discovering the digital world' , for people who want to start using a mobile device and become familiar with new technologies, 'We move through the digital world' , for people who use a mobile device or smart tablet, but who need to be more autonomous and want to give them new uses, and 'We enter the digital world' , for people with basic autonomy in the use of digital tools, but who want to delve deeper into them. These will continue to be free, will last fifteen hours and will be offered in person and in small groups. Participants will receive certificates accrediting participation and use of the courses. Framed in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union with Next Generation European funds and with the collaboration of the Localret Consortium, the program 'Més Digitals' will especially prioritize the participation of people over 60 years of age, unemployed people, members of families with school-age children who are at risk of social exclusion, people with functional diversity, people with criminal measures in the community and residents of open prisons and relatives of people residing in prisons and juvenile justice educational centers.
The second novelty is the arrival of the program 'Més Digitals' throughout Catalonia. The regions of Alt Urgell, Alta Ribagorça, Aran, Cerdanya, Noguera, Pallars Jussà, Pallars Sobirà and Segarra are joining the institutional initiative and are setting up spaces to develop training proposals throughout the territory.
