The libraries of Garcia, Tivissa and Móra d'Ebre will carry out an activity to promote augmented reality applied to the library service on Friday, 28 which will promote the relationship of books and technology aimed at families using these services.
This workshop aims to bring technology into the day to day public libraries of the Ribera d'Ebre so that the participants enjoy paper books differently thanks to the joint use of technology with the main objective to explain the new uses that the world of books and technology have with new applications of augmented reality.
By means of coloring sheets, other types of sheets with activities or specific printed books, designed and designed in a special way, can be interacted with an application of augmented reality. Family-friendly activity will allow younger children accompanied by an adult, enjoy technology and the world of the book on paper together, and only with a sheet or a book and a device such as a tablet or a mobile phone .
The activity takes place within the framework of the Mobile Day , which every month last Friday gives continuity to the activities around the technology monthly, after the region was the first rural territory to be part of the Mobile Week Catalunya last February. The Mobile Day June will be held in the towns of Garcia and Mora de Ebro in the morning and Tivissa hours in the afternoon, to help all users who come to their spaces to enter, update and / or improve the use of augmented reality and the world of paper books.
