The program seeks to implement individualized itineraries for care and job guidance to improve the training and job placement of women seeking employment.

The Servei Públic d’Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC) has recently opened the annual call for funding actions of the support program for women in rural and urban areas within the framework of the Pla de Recuperació, Transformació i Resiliència, financed with european funds Next Generation. The program seeks to implement individualized itineraries of attention and job guidance to improve the training and job insertion of rural and urban women by offering training and counseling opportunities in the digital, technological, entrepreneurial and social economy. Consequently, the subsidized actions are the implementation of these individualized itineraries that must have as their central objective the training and job placement of unemployed women, who are applicants for employment at the Servei d’Ocupació de Catalunya at the time of start the program and residents preferably in municipalities with less than 5,000 inhabitants, from rural and urban areas. Specifically, the call proposes three itineraries: a general itinerary with a workshop on transversal skills and a global session on the labor market, a green itinerary with a skills workshop on green economy occupations and a session on the job market work related to green economy occupations and a digital pathway with a skills workshop on digital economy occupations and a labor market session related to digital economy occupations.

In this sense, the beneficiary entities can be municipal entities, supra-municipal entities and non-profit entities. The call is endowed with one and a half million euros and applications must be submitted through the procedures section of the electronic headquarters of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Canal Empresa. The submission deadline is ten working days from the day after the publication of the resolution (05/02/2024).
