Under the motto "We put technology at the service of life" the 7th edition of the Mobile Social Congress (MSC) is working to present a fairer and more sustainable model of electronics, coinciding with the MWC 2022. The event will be held on February 27, March 1 and 2 in a one-time format at the Born in Barcelona and in line. It is promoted by the entity Setem with the support of the Directorate of Global Justice and International Cooperation of Barcelona City Council.
MSC 2022 will talk about the post-COVID-19 impacts present in factories and throughout the supply chain in the field of mobile technology . Cases of anti-union practices of large electronics companies or the social and environmental impact of mineral extraction for the production of electric batteries needed for the energy transition will be presented. In addition, the key role of responsible public procurement in the cloud services contract will be discussed.
