Recently, the new edition of the MEDEA Awards was presented. This year, the European competition is looking for projects that show multimedia uses in learning environments, such as videos, audios, graphics, games, simulations, apps, podcasts, vlogs, animations, artificial intelligence tools or any other use of multimedia proposals for educational purposes. From the Xarxa Punt TIC, the Punt TIC is encouraged to apply.

Specifically, the new edition of the MEDEA Awards foresees three categories of awards: the MEDEA Award for the best multimedia project for educational purposes, the MEDEA Jury Award and the MEDEA Audience Award. The MEDEA Awards, which were convened for the first time in November 2007, aim to promote innovation and good practices in the use of multimedia in education. The awards recognize and promote excellence in the production and pedagogical design of multimedia-rich learning and teaching materials, resources, tools, processes and services. Interested persons can process their registration for the MEDEA Awards online. Once the application has been processed correctly, you must send a signed copy of the presentation form to the MEDEA Awards Secretariat by post, email or fax. The deadline is Thursday, February 29, at 11.59 p.m.

During the month of April, the organization of the MEDEA Awards will notify the preselected finalists, who will be invited to participate in the award ceremony that will take place on June 20 and 21 in Leuven, Belgium, where will publicly announce the winners of the MEDEA Awards 2024.
