The Espiral Association has launched " InspiraTech Boxes ", a pedagogical initiative that aims to transform the way primary school girls approach science and technology. The proposal is based on five learning boxes dedicated to five Catalan women who have stood out in the scientific and technological field.

Each box is dedicated to a leading Catalan woman in the scientific and technological field , offering students inspiring role models with whom to identify. The boxes contain not only biographical information, but also practical challenges and activities designed to develop children's computational and creative thinking . The material is designed so that students are not passive recipients of information, but rather experiment, create and develop practical skills. The approach combines the inspiration generated by these leading figures with action and direct experimentation.

The project is led by Núria Sabaté and Azucena Vàzquez . Sabaté is president of the Espiral Association and a primary school teacher, as well as a teacher trainer in digital competence and educational leadership. Vàzquez is Director of Digital Transformation at Escuela21 and CTO of Ecosistema21. A doctorate in Education and Technologies, with experience as a teacher at different educational levels, she leads projects that connect innovation, equity and educational impact from a critical perspective . The pedagogical design of the boxes was the responsibility of Anna Lleonart , a preschool teacher, teacher trainer and facilitator of educational centers, and the visual identity of the project is the work of Sonia Fernández , a graphic designer and founder of Funky Peanut, a creative studio specializing in graphic design and illustration for sectors such as education and video games.

One of the most notable aspects of the project is its commitment to universal access. All the material is free, accessible and available in Catalan , without any type of economic or administrative barrier. This philosophy of open educational resources allows any educational center, family or education professional to use the materials and adapt them to their needs.

The boxes are designed for students to be inspired by these women role models, create their own projects and develop leadership skills in the scientific and technological field. The project is now available for any educational center, family or educator who wants to use it and the guides and teaching materials can be downloaded directly from the official project website , where you can also find detailed information about the boxes, the driving team and the objectives of the initiative.
