Hospital , technology , research and administration institutions will meet in Barcelona in September to work on the transformation of the health care model and place the patient as the key and priority element.
The XPA Barcelona community (patient experience) is contributed to help consolidate the central role of the patient in decision making, promote improvement projects and identify good practices.
The 2019 edition works around three axes :
- The empowerment of the patient and the caregiver : how to evaluate and improve their user experiences
- Co-creation with patients: participatory procedures where the user is the main actor
- Technology at the service of the patient: interactive tools to support self-care.
The program is made up of specialization seminars on technology management and innovation and the evaluation of the patient's experience , as well as innovative practical experiences and debates on the identification of needs in the field of care , the strategies used by the patients Professionals to bring into practice the involvement of the patient or different technological supports .
