Under the title 'Building as people in the digital universe', last Thursday 3 October, the Bofill Foundation , which is located at Carrer Girona, number 34, interior, in the city of Barcelona, hosted the presentation of the book 'Humanism in digital times' by Jaume Funes. The event began with the three big questions about humanism in digital times. Then, the presentation included a conversation between the educator Jaume Funes and the expert in social and digital innovation Liliana Arroyo under the title 'Dialogue: educate to be human and be human to educate'. Specifically, Jaume Funes and Liliana Arroyo reflected on the importance of humanizing in this digital revolution and especially humanizing in educational contexts.
The book 'Humanism in digital times' by Jaume Funes is an invitation to rebellion: even if everything changes, we cannot let new technologies impoverish society and make us give up imagination and creativity. So, the educator Jaume Funes asks to continue being human beings, to continue educating and to continue humanizing, and through the pages of the essayistic book, he himself teaches how to do it.
