The ICT Point of the Municipal Employment Service of Girona City Council will organize a digital empowerment workshop for the prevention of sexist violence and a talk.

Next week, the ICT Point of the Municipal Employment Service of Girona City Council will focus on the eradication of sexist violence. In this context, on Monday 25 November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, from 5 to 6.30 p.m., the ICT Point will facilitate a digital empowerment workshop for the prevention of gender-based violence hand of Fem Bloc, a feminist line of care and support in the face of digital violence, where participants will learn online self-defense strategies and digital empowerment for prevention of digital sexist violence and will know protection tools and resources. Also, on Wednesday 27 November, from 12pm to 2pm, the TIC Point will promote the talk 'What labor rights do women victims of gender violence have?' by Mireia Montesinos, lawyer and associate professor of labor law at the Pompeu Fabra University, in order to learn about the rights that women victims can exercise within the framework of their labor relations, especially the rights in social security and the planned benefits, and what social protection measures are available.
