This year, the French entity Framasoft celebrates its twentieth anniversary. Known for promoting free software, the non-profit association Framasoft was founded in 2004 in Lyon, France by Alexis Kauffmann. The reason for the birth was to promote, disseminate and develop free software tools, as well as to enrich the culture of free software.
