Digitalization has become a key environment for socialization, learning and participation among children, adolescents and young people. Unfortunately, this process is not neutral, since digital technologies are generating unequal effects that affect the rights of people, the personal development and the opportunities of children, adolescents and young people. With the aim of providing a space for reflection and conversation about the challenges of today's digital environments, next Tuesday, February 17, from 12 to 14 hours, the Esade Chair in Socially Responsible Digital Innovation will organize the talk 'Growing up in digital: rights, purposes and co-responsibilities' at the Esade Barcelona facilities, located at Avinguda Pedralbes, number 60-62, in the city of Barcelona. Among others, Liliana Arroyo, director of the Chair of Socially Responsible Digital Innovation and professor in the Department of Society, Politics and Sustainability at Esade, will participate, who will give the presentation 'From digital well-being to socially responsible innovation'. Similarly, the round table 'Building digital experiences with purpose' will be promoted, which will include the participation of Albert Beltrán, co-founder of Balance Phone, Josep Lluís Matalí, head of the Psychology and Outpatient Consultations Section of the Psychiatry and Psychology Service of the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, Marisol López, general director of Innovation and Digital Culture of the Department of Culture of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and a young person.
