Next Thursday, May 11, the 'Decidim Kids' initiative will be presented in order to promote the digital participation of children and adolescents aged 8 to 13 in the decisions of the city of Barcelona. From 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Canòdrom facilities, which is located at Carrer Concepció Arenal number 165, the workshop 'Laboratori Decidim Infants' will be held, which will be facilitated by people who are experts in children's participation. The 'Decidim Kids' initiative will seek to reinforce the recognition of their rights, their citizenship and their ability to build the present and future of the city of Barcelona.

In this sense, during the meeting, work will be done for the first time on how a digital participatory process aimed at children and adolescents should be with the collaboration of Elisenda Ortega, responsible for Democratic Innovation at Barcelona City Council; Nil Homedes, head of Decidim Organizations; Anna Novella, head of the European Child Participation Project IMCITIZEN of the University of Barcelona, and Sandra Gómez, co-author of the study PARTICIPATIC of the Fundació Ferrer i Guàrdia. So, the Barcelona cooperative Colectic will be the entity in charge of dynamizing the meeting on the 'Decidim Kids' initiative in the Canòdrom area.
