The last of this series of conferences in 2016 will take place on June 28 from 19h at the Hotel Class Valls. To round off the conference from 2.0 Omnia has chosen a topical issue: Collaborative economies.

In recent years the concept of collaborative economy has taken more and more strength. According to an article published in Time magazine in 2011, the collaborative economy is one of the ten ideas that will change the world as we know it. Since then, people have started a debate on this phenomenon, its advantages and its disadvantages.

The rapporteur responsible for presenting this topic will be the Eleni Papaoikonomou specialist in consumer behavior and economic collaborative. Eleni currently teaches marketing in the Rovira i Virgili University and visiting professor at IESEG Management School in Paris and the Open University of Catalonia. Elena will explain why the economy is so collaborative and has generated much debate, will present initiatives and discuss the challenges that implies for the future.
