Organized by the cooperative L'Apòstrof , with the support of the Barcelona City Council , the new edition of Crucrucru will focus on artificial intelligence. Next Saturday, November 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Canòdrom. L'Ateneu d'Innovació Digital i Democràtica. , located at Carrer de Concepción Arenal, number 165, in the city of Barcelona, the great communicative challenges related to acceleration, hyperproduction, automation and the widespread use of artificial intelligence will be addressed. The objective of the third edition of Crucrucru, which previously focused on gender and the climate crisis, will be to promote more critical, more humane and more democratic communication, rethink the present and share alternatives. A dozen speakers, artists and researchers will put ideas on the table, propose reflections and open dialogues. In this sense, Patricia Ventura, researcher in the ethics of artificial intelligence and communication, Toni Navarro, researcher specialized in feminist theories of technology, Anna Mundet, researcher, artist and activist, Núria Nia, artist and researcher, the Taller Estampa experimental collective and the multidisciplinary project InterVisions, among others, will participate. Also, it will be possible to visit several artistic installations developed by members of Taller Estampa (Cartografia de la AI Generativa), Kate Crawford & Vladan Joler (Calculating Empires), Blanca Pia & L'Apòstrof (Ikea Neuronal) and Marta Delatte (Les flors sóc jo).
