Together with the Safe Internet program, the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya joins the European Month of Cybersecurity, an annual campaign dedicated to promoting cyber security among citizens and European organizations. During the four weeks of October, the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya is raising awareness through social networks around four key issues: updating the Edge, Safari, Firefox and Chrome browsers, ransomware, phishing and data theft.

Specifically, the fourth week of October, the Agència de Ciberseguretat de Catalunya dealt with data theft, the act of stealing digital data stored on computers, servers or electronic devices in order to obtain personal, confidential or financial information such as passwords.
