Last Thursday, May 4, the Xarxa Punt TIC Network moved to Tàrrega to celebrate a new territorial meeting of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network. In total, about twenty people took part in the day which was organized around the experiences of the Punt TIC and the actions against digital gaps. Firstly, at 9.30 am, at the Youth Office in the town of Tàrrega, the accreditation of the participants began. Then, Ricard Faura, head of the Digital Inclusion and Training Service of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and Alba Pijuan, mayor of Tàrrega, welcomed the participants in the new territorial meeting of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network. Next, Laura Serrano, head of the Technical Office of the Xarxa Punt TIC Network, presented the Xarxa Punt TIC to the public attending the new territorial meeting in Tàrrega.
The first round table revolved around the experiences of the TIC Point and had the participation of Ramon Oromí from the Punt Òmnia gòTIC Tàrrega, Marina Masana from the Aspid Association, linked to the Punt TIC Oficina Jove - Casal Lapallavacara, and Ricard Garcia of the Punt TIC of Artesa de Lleida. The three speakers took advantage of the meeting to share their experiences around new information and communication technologies, digital literacy and digital inclusion. Afterwards, a small colloquium was held where speakers and attendees could discuss experiences, possible collaborations and future proposals in the ICT field. A small refreshment distributed the two round tables and gave the opportunity to generate a successful space for meeting, creating synergies and sharing between the twenty people attending.
The second round table focused on actions against digital gaps and included Manel Martínez from the Provincial Council of Lleida, Gemma Pedra from the Reintegra Association and Toni Romero, director of the Territorial Network in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands of the University Open of Catalonia. The three speakers agreed on the need to work in a network and to promote and promote cooperation and collaboration between the agents of the territory to deal with the digital gaps collectively. Then, a small discussion between the attendees and the speakers closed the second round table of the new territorial meeting in Tàrrega. Finally, at 1:30 p.m., Liliana Arroyo, director general of Societat Digital de la Generalitat de Catalunya, closed the day by thanking the Punt TIC for the great work done and encouraging them to continue working for digital training and universalization and the socialization of ICT.
